New features in OJS 3.5

Most important new features:

  1. Redesign for better overview of the submissions status:

  3. Delete incomplete submissions easily
  4. Better overview for authors:
  5. Better overview for reviewers and directly respond:
  6. If you filter, and go back, the filter is gone. In the new version the filter opens in a new window:
  7. Redesigned and streamline Users & Roles to see directly the relevant information:
  8. Easier create new accounts and the possibility to invite users from other journals on the platform:
  9. The email which the author receives:
  10. continuing a create or connect our ORCiD iD:
  11. An Editorial history link on the Editorial Masthead page with a list of previous editors, with start- and end dates. (Can be edited).
  12. Users can add more than one ROR institution, to make it more flexible:
    (You can add an institution who doesn’t have a ROR).
  13. Reminders for reviews:
  14. Customizable reviewer recommendations:
    (Once it is used it cannot be modified)
  15. Reviewer suggestions field during the submission:
  16. Author can download reviews and review form (in PDF and XML)
  17. Reviewers have access to previous reviews:
  18. If a reviewer emails the review, it is easier for the editor to upload the review on behalf of the reviewer:
