ORCID and reviewers recognition

ORCID stands for Open Researcher and Contributor Identifier. It provides researchers with a persistent digital identifier that they own and control which:

  • Distinguishes them from other researchers
  • Connects researchers to their affiliations, grants, publications, peer review and more
  • Shares information with other systems (f.e. sharing publication details with CrossRef)

TU Delft OPEN Publishing is an official member of ORCiD. It allows researches to collect their published work in one reliable place. If you don’t have a ORCID yet, you can make one at orcid.org.

The plugin allows journals to send an invitation to authors asking them to connect their ORCID:

If you agree the published article details will automatically be added to the author ORCID record page.
